Apartments at 40 Voorheesville Ave, Voorheesville, NY 12186 are surrounded by the business of growing and selling Lilacs, Roses and more Retail. The type of person who wishes to rent such an apartment has to be tolerant of the activity around the house at all times.
The upstairs apartment is for rent as of September first delayed only by the work we will be doing after the old tenant moves out. The rent for the old tenant was $600 per month plus utilities and a $600 security deposit is required. 2 small bedrooms with large kitchen, living room, dining room, 1 bathroom.
Most windows have been replaced and the apartment was insulated with blown in insulation. The furnace (gas furnace) is only a couple years old in 2011. The full front porch is to be kept empty of all except outdoor chairs so we all (including those involved in growing plants) can sit there at any time of day and enjoy our coffee that we can purchase next door at Stewarts.
Our original business plan was to purchase multi-family homes with attached 5 or 10 acre properties where we could grow our plants. Renting the apartments pays the taxes and the occupied building provides the nursery with a source of water, electricity and security. Our crew not only grows the plants in several locations that are only a mile or two apart, but they also maintain the apartments, plow the driveway etc.
