List of Antique Apple trees that we grow (we propagate from cuttings to produce trees for forest gardens). Last edited Sunday, November 27, 2005 10:59 PM. See you at the Plant Sale next spring.

Though I talk most about the fruit there are other factors more important when considering a tree on its own roots. Own root trees will grow to be of a size with many other middle-story trees in the forest. Though some fruit can be collected for human consumption the majority will be taken by wildlife. Prunings from these trees make fine firewood.

If you wish to purchase a tree for fruit production primarily consider buying a grafted tree from us (mostly grown to espalier in large pots for between $30 and $40, if thats to much check out Trees of Antiquity, LLC ).
