Crop 004 (pictures of) 'Apothecary's Rose', Rosa gallica 'officinallis', 'Red Rose of Lancaster' 'Rose of Provins' gallica old garden rose introduced before 1500 (zones 4 thru 10, 3 feet x 3 feet'), fragrant blooms for several weeks late spring to early summer in Albany, NY. Old Garden Rose. We fertilize with Espoma Rose Tone in Late winter and again after flowering. After the plant has leafed out we remove dead parts only. Branches that go where they shouldn't are tied back.
