Crop #039 'Mutabilis', Hybrid China Rose, zones 7 and higher, 5'x5', recurrent, multi-colored, single flowers, introduced before 1894 (being grown in Albany County, NY).

Several people in zone 4 east berne grow these on their own roots, hilling them up in the fall to protect them from adverse temperatures.
