Crop 081 'Dark Night' Syringa vulgaris 'Dark Night' Lilac Zones 3 thru 8, 10 feet x 6 feet, dark purple flowers with darker purple coloration inside, bloom for several weeks in late May to early June locally with longer bloom in cool conditions and shorter bloom under warm conditions. Some variations in color are caused by environmental conditions while other slight variations may be caused by the light conditions for the photograph (we try to take pictures when its overcast so that the color is rendered in its correct tint). The blue in these pictures is the wrong color and should be imagined as an extremely dark purple instead. We'll probably photoshop this later. Click top left hand picture for larger version.
