Crop 091 (pictures of) Syringa vulgaris 'Sarah Sands' introduced by Havemeyer in 1943 (zones 3 thru 8), single dark purple flowers bloom for several weeks in late May to early June in Voorheesville, NY (outstandingly showy). Crop information at bottom.
