Crop 198 Picture Newsletter by andyvancleve of www.floweringshrubfarm.com
176 Pauls Himalayan Musk Paul's Himalayan Musk Rambler #10_533 (introduced in 1916) Zones 5 to 9, can ramble 20 to 30 feet into a tree, moderately fragrant small (1.5 inch) flowers forming into large trailing clusters for several weeks from early to mid summer.
Every plant we grow has an inventory label like the one shown on the left with a number unique to that plant. When I sell it I take the yellow inventory label.
I take pictures of the label followed by another picture of the flower on that plant (low quality of around 50 kilobytes) followed by another picture of the plant in its pot against a white surface so you can see how well branched it is (or how badly). I provide a link from the inventory number in my catalog.
Above the pictures I write a description (copied from the catalog) and provide a link to a quality picture (1 megabyte file size) to examine more closely. Sometimes I place a caption in the picture.
If you see something you like Note the inventory number and the page its on (this page is crop 198) and email me to ask if its still available.
When I sell a plant; within a couple weeks I'll remove the link from the catalog but highlight the number in red marked as sold, I mark the link in my garden page as sold, later I erase the contents of the crop page and add new pictures placing new descriptions and links in the garden page and catalog.
We grow plants to sell at our plant sale. Read my notes on the zone hardiness numbers I use. Do we do mail order? Check my picture-newsletter Want to purchase? email me.
