Crop 268 Picture Newsletter by andyvancleve of www.floweringshrubfarm.com 061808 June 18, 2008; I take pictures in my nursery all year of the shrub, flower, fruit, fall foliage of the plants along with maintenence and then post them in my newsletter sometimes with comments. The file name of each picture (above each picture) includes the date it was taken the name of the plant and sometimes the inventory number (10565) if available. Sometimes clicking the picture will take you to another page with more pictures and information or a larger picture. Potential customers subscribe so that I send them an email link to the newsletter the day the pictures were taken in order to be notified when the plants they are interested in are in bloom. Further links at bottom of page.

061808apothecarysrose11031_0002.jpg Note the yellow inventory label. When I take a picture of the flower, fruit. fall foliage, structure etc. I precede it with a picture of the number on the label and then use that number when saving the picture.

061808hippolyte10600_0120.jpg Notice the phylody in this picture. Gallica roses often present these leaf like structures from the flower if spring was rather cool and wet. A genetic anomaly.
