I insert Pinxterbloom Azalea into a raised bed with a clear plastic lid under the shade of trees. If you want a plant its easy enough for me to scoop some out, insert them in a pot and sell them to you. As they get larger we'll remove every other plant and start another box. I will over-write the above picture every once in a while, usually after someone asks how big they are, and you'll be able to see how big they are right now.

Less than 1 gallon size is $5, 1 or 2 gallon less than 2 years old is $10, 2 year old $15.

If you are interested send me your mailing address, phone number and a request to subscribe to my free picture-newsletter in an email.

Each spring I purchase 200 seedlings of Rhododendron periclymenoides (used to be R. nudiflorum) pinxterbloom azalea germinated from seed collected on the Appalachian Trail. Customers can email me or call me on my cell phone at 518-526-9978 or 518-526-9101 asking if its to late to order pinxterbloom azaleas mailorder. The seedlings arrive (I take pictures and insert them in the newsletter) and I start inserting them into a raised bed (I send them by flat rate priority mail from the post office across the street for $12.35 postage or $18 postage depending on how many are ordered).

The agricultural inspector comes to Inspect all mail order plants leaving New York State, and I call you back make sure you give me your phone number in your email) to ask for a check (the sooner the check clears the bank the sooner I can send the plants). The email you send me asking to subscribe and telling me you want to purchase pinxterbloom azaleas is your order form so include how many plants you want, your mailing address, phone numbers etc.

Most people interested in mail-order might buy 5 three inch potted plants for $5 each ($25) plus 8% tax plus the cost of Flat Rate Priority US Mail ($12.35 as of May 2013).

Pinxterbloom Azalea Rhododendron periclymenoides grows North of North Carolina while Piedmont Azalea Rhododendron canescens that looks almost the same grows south of North Carolina and is also called the Pinxter Azalea so make sure you know which pinxter you want by providing the botanical name, because we dont have any Piedmont Azalea that is not hardy locally.

Email me to order and ask to subscribe to the newsletter. When the seedlings arrive you will see pictures of them in the newsletter (my new camera places the date in the lower right hand corner of each picture). If we have larger plants you'll see pictures of those as well and my comments beneath each picture will tell you how much it costs (as little as $5 each).

Piedmont Azalea or Rhododendron canescens is also called Pinxter Azalea so understand that the one I sell is either R. periclymenoides or R. nudiflorum Pinxterbloom Azalea.

I propagate and grow plants that are hard to find in this area of New York State without having to do mail order. Potential customers subscribe to my picture-newsletter. As I work in the Nursery I take pictures for the newsletter and comment under each one about how many we have and how much I will charge for them. I send a link to the most recent picture-newsletter to all my subscribers around the 10th of each month (but I continue to add to that newsletter until the end of the month). When you see something you like you can come buy it.
